Your skin may be "normal" or "combination" if it:

  • Mostly feels vibrant, elastic, and supple

  • Has no or few imperfections

  • Has no severe sensitivity

  • Could be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others (nose, forehead, chin)

Recommended Skin Care Routine:

If you have normal or combination skin, you're lucky! Your skin is, for the most part, relatively balanced already, and you need few adjustments, aside from following an all-natural, simple, gentle skin care routine, to maintain this:

DAY-TIME ROUTINE

  1. Splash face with water or gently swipe skin with a natural toner.
  2. Apply AIKI SKIN FACE OIL for Normal/Combination Skin, which is formulated with balanced oils to help maintain and encourage homeostasis in the skin. Pump once for ideal amount and massage into damp skin after cleansing.
  3. Apply AIKI SKIN SHEA BALM where needed - Melt a small amount in palm and spot-apply on drier areas of skin. Great for additional hydration during winter months.
  4. If using makeup, wait at least 5-10 minutes and apply as desired.

NIGHT-TIME ROUTINE

  1. If wearing makeup, remove with an all-natural cleanser (try the oil-cleansing method!).
  2. Apply AIKI SKIN FACE OIL for Normal/Combination Skin, which is formulated with balanced oils to help maintain and encourage homeostasis in the skin. Pump once for ideal amount and massage into damp skin after cleansing.
  3. Finally, apply AIKI SKIN SHEA BALM where needed - Melt a small amount in palm and spot-apply on drier areas of skin. Great for additional hydration during winter months.

Internal Solutions

  • Focus on simply maintaining balance in your skin care and lifestyle.
  • Replace all chemical and petroleum-laden products that only add toxic buildup to your organs with 100% natural versions.
  • Drink enough water (approx. 8 glasses a day) to help flush out toxins, balance water and sebum levels, and hydrate your skin from the inside-out.
  • Start your day off with a green smoothie to help you get more vital nutrients and vitamins into your system.
  • Incorporate regular eating and sleeping patterns - preferably sleeping by 11pm and aiming for at least 7 hours of sleep each night to allow your body to fully regenerate.
  • Limit sun exposure and invest in an all-natural sunscreen to protect your skin.
